Voice Export lets you copy one of your custom voices into a different workspace using a copy token. Use it to move a voice between your own workspaces, or share the token with specific people so they can add the voice to theirs.

Export a voice

Open the voice in the Voice Library

In Portal, go to Voice Library and select one of your custom voices under the My voices tab to open its details panel. Click Export Voice.

List who can redeem the token

Enter the email addresses of the people who can redeem the token — include your own email if you’re copying the voice into another of your workspaces. Press Enter, comma, or space after each email to add it; you can also paste a list of addresses.

Create the copy token

Click Create Copy Token, then copy the token and send it to the people you listed. They redeem it from their own workspace via Import Voice (see below).
  • The token expires 7 days after creation.
  • Only the emails listed on the token can redeem it.
  • Each redemption creates an independent copy — later changes to your original voice are not reflected in copies.
  • Treat copy tokens like secrets: send them directly to the people you listed rather than posting them anywhere public. Even if a token leaks, only the listed emails can redeem it, and it expires on its own after 7 days.

Open Import Voice in the destination workspace

In the destination workspace, go to the Voice Library and click Import Voice (next to Create Voice).

Paste the copy token

Paste the copy token the voice owner shared with you. Optionally enter a Voice name — it defaults to the original voice’s name.

Copy the voice

Click Copy Voice. A Voice copied to your workspace notification confirms success, and the Edit Voice window opens in case you want to edit the voice’s metadata — display name, description, tags, gender, age, and category.The voice is now your own private, independent voice with its own voice ID, ready to use in the TTS Playground or via the API.
